Bowen Island IMPROV for EVERYONE
*We had a great spring session. JOIN our MAILING LIST To hear about next offerings.
Sometimes Improv sounds like a scary word. Pressure to be funny, performance anxiety, all that fun stuff can feel intimidating. But every single day we get up and improv our way through the day successfully, so in my view each and every one of us is already an accomplished improviser!
In this no pressure to perform class we will cover the basics and not so basics of improv in a fun-first focused curriculum. Because if we're not enjoying ourselves what's the point? In this collaborative experience for all levels we'll practice active listening and instinctual creativity in a nonjudgmental and open space.

Calder began practicing improv the day he was born when he had to make the best of a much colder and brighter situation than he was used to.
His official acting journey started with the Tir-na-nOg Theatre School when he was 6 years old, and been hooked ever since. He has over 15 years experience teaching and working with students of all ages, and currently works as an acting and improv instructor in North Vancouver. |
